In Inner Mongolia, China, there is a largest lake in north China, Lake Hulun. The river and lakes in the Hulun Lake basin gave birth to the Hulun Buir Grassland, the largest preserved area in north China, and brought up numerous nomadic peoples who changed the course of world history. This 740,000 hectares of wetland attracts numerous waterfowl in Northeast Asia to breed, forage and rest, and has become an important place for biodiversity gathering in Northeast Asia. Lake Hulun and its surrounding wetlands and grasslands constitute the most important ecological security barrier in north China as a great green wall.Large lakes, vast grasslands, and diverse life sing together the harmony of nature.
